For this week we focused on getting all the appointments made that are necessary for completing the Home Study requirements. Fortunately our Covid restrictions are lightening up here in Idaho and so more appointments are available than would have been a few months ago.

Medical appointments are made!

The kids appointments are on the same day (that ought to be fun) but it will be nice to only have Jonathan miss a few hours of work once vs. two separate days. I’d love to get Jonathan & I to be seen earlier for our medicals and will try for a cancelation spot. Last time we had to be seen 3 separate times as the social worker decided she wanted the Dossier medical form as well as the one in her basic application packet. This time I will be prepared for that and plan that she will want both. I made our appointment with the doctor we had previously, who was great to work with in terms of the over the top, OCD notary requirements that Ukraine has. I am praying that this will allow that portion to go more smoothly.

I updated our personal biographies from last time, I located our birth & marriage certificates and I got our background check appointments made. Now I’m filling out the various forms included in the packet which isn’t very time consuming but it is monotonous repetitive info.
