As a Foster/adopt and international adoption family we are well versed in the myriad of hoops all families must jump through in order to complete their adoption. Our goal is to keep our adoption grant program simple and easy. The Kya’s Promise grant fund is created out of the after-tax profits of sales from the Kya’s Promise Candy Store, financial donations from generous benefactors and unused application fees. Funds available to gift fluctuate throughout the year and so we do not guarantee that every applicant will receive a grant. Currently we offer matching grants a minimum of once per quarter (March/June/September/December). Guidelines: Domestic special needs adoption, International orphan adoption and second chance adoptions all qualify. Last minute adoption situations will be considered for up to a 3-month post-adoption grant. Families may apply once per quarter. Deadline for the quarterly grant are March 15th, June 15th, September 15th, December 15th Must pay the $25 application fee to apply. (application will be sent via email after) No limits: Families can receive more than one grant during a single adoption. Family must be home study ready and working with an accredited adoption agency. Most grants are issued as a MATCHING grant (30 day expiration – rules will be given at issuance) Payments will be made to any 501c3 charity organization that you are working with.
